John M. Donaghey CFA, CAIA

John’s career spans over 25 years working with some of the industry’s most successful asset managers and prominent asset owners.  He has experience with a wide range of asset classes both traditional and alternative.

In addition to founding Bretton Woods Asset Management, John is a Senior Advisor and equity partner to Lee Capital Management, a next-generation asset manager seeking to address the critical investor priority of loss avoidance.

Before forming Bretton Woods, John was Head of North American Institutional Distribution for BNY Mellon Asset Management, where he ran distribution and relationship management channels for boutiques representing +$1.5T in AUM. 

Before joining BNY Mellon, he worked for Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Putnam Investments.

John is a CFA, CAIA and received his MBA from Boston College’s Carrol Graduate School of Management.
